The video below shows three looped images filmed during Vacirca's Nomadic Structures residency. Addressing solitude and time: Frame 1 shows the artists walking alone against cars on an autobahn to his arrest. Frame 2 shows the artist asleep in a sheep field after realising he could not enter the soul of a sheep and vice versa, there is however, a surprise visitation toward the end of the loop. Frame 3 shows a bug in circuit, the bug had lost a leg and was walking in a circle forever by the side of a Belgian road. The video was projected onto 42 bails of hay that were relocated from the sheep farm to Brussels, as part of Dario Vacirca's No More Sheepless Nights performance installation for one person at a time in the boulangerie at Le Bains::Connective. |
