Christie is sometimes described as 'John Wayne of the arts'. Why? She shoots from the hip, has a no nonsense and creative approach to realising impossible tasks and works as hard as a pioneer settling into new media art frontieres.
The new frontieres Christie directs her vigilant focus and charms toward are the crossover between live art, new media and inter-web interactivity - working across design, production and management.

Christie was co-director of Take Off Your Skin. Working across all aspects of the project and directing the media / online streams of the project - co-developing the relationship of media to the live performance and subsequent evolution of the work online.

Christie comes from a history of multi-media and web development that has seen her working for corporate clients and NGO's in Australia and Timor. As a web-media artist Christie recently collaborated on Willoh S. Weiland's Void Love and is continously developing new, socially conscious multi-platform art works.
