WELL is a contemporary
art company dedicated to the development and creation of cross-artform,
inter-cultural and multi-disciplinary projects.
exploring the nexus between public art, creative
community dialogue and hybrid art practice, WELL projects are large in
scale, broad in scope and appeal, intimate in their effect and dedicated to interactivity and audience development.
WELL was established in 1999 as a progressive vessel for new ideas
and challenging perspectives within contemporary theatre-art. Since 2001 WELL has been in ongoing
development for their flagship work Great
Wall of Books - now in international cultural exchange until 2015. WELL are currently developing two major new projects and are perpetually creating smaller, intimate works across genres.
WELL is lead by Dario Vacirca, supported by a champion commitee of management and consists of numerous artists working across disciplines. Along with their
own project’s, WELL's core members are involved in multiple programs that interface
with local and international artists.
